Food students have been learning how to make chicken kievs using the chicken breasts they portioned from the whole chicken last lesson. They firstly made their own garlic and herb butter, made a pocket in the breast and coated it in egg and breadcrumbs.
The smell was delicious! They’ve also been learning about the science of bread making and have baked different wonderful types of bread. Using the skills they’ve learned during ‘bread week’, they have created delicious calzones with a range of different fillings.
