Frederick Bremer’s Production of: School of Rock

On the 2nd and 3rd of July, 40 students from across the school came together to perform in our annual school musical, “School of Rock.” Based on the 2003 movie, “School of Rock” tells the story of Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who earns a few extra bucks by posing as his best friend, a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Dewey transforms the children into rock stars while helping them reconnect with their busy parents.

Our students have been hard at work since before Christmas, showing incredible commitment by attending rehearsals and mastering their lines and dance routines. Their dedication paid off, as the final performances were truly fantastic. This show was a huge team effort. We are immensely grateful for the support of Ms. Julius, Ms. Hewitt, Ms. Padilla Jones, Ms. Blackwin, Ms. Reader, and Ms. Ross. Their help with rehearsals, singing, backstage management, and organising the set and props was invaluable.

Congratulations to all involved for making “School of Rock” a memorable and successful production!
